In execution
Stay beside the sponsor until the dates hold.
Recovery is a sequence of decisions under pressure. Torvane gives the sponsor an independent read of where the project actually is, a recovery plan built from evidence, and a principal-level seat until the plan is holding.
Project Diagnostic
For the sponsor who senses trouble but cannot yet justify a full assessment. Five days on site, one page per issue, and a recommendation on whether a full recovery assessment is warranted.
On site, five days · Deliverable: diagnostic memo, top five findings, next-step recommendation
Recovery Assessment
The ten-day assessment applied to a project that is behind. Same method, same tiers, with the readout weighted toward recovery options, dates, and cost ranges.
On site, ten days · Tiered by project size and team · See the ten-day method
Recovery Advisory Retainer
Six principal days a month plus availability, beside the sponsor and the project director, until the recovery plan is holding. Three-month minimum.
Monthly, invoiced in advance · Additional principal days by agreement
Progress Verification
Independent monthly verification of reported progress, earned value, and forecast for a board, lender, or joint-venture partner: sampled physical progress walks, rules-of-credit check, schedule health, and a plain-language variance letter. Torvane acts as Independent Construction Monitor.
Two days on site per month plus reporting · Six-month minimum
Governance Seat
Two days a month of independent status to the sponsor, board, or lender. Attends the governance meeting, reads what the dashboard does not say, and puts it in writing.
Two days per month, monthly
Cost and Contract Compliance Review
Are monthly applications, change orders, and time-and-material charges consistent with the contract and with what was built? Field-side review of quantities, crew composition, indirects, and premium time against contract terms.
Desktop plus two days on site, six days · Quarterly repeat available
Scope boundary
Torvane never assumes charge of construction or acts as contractor or construction manager. Financial audit, legal opinions, and safety management are out of scope.

Fixed scope. Defined timeline. Principal-led. A confidential 30-minute call is enough to tell you whether an assessment fits.
