Approach
Evidence, observed on site, written plainly.
A torvane measures shear strength by pushing a small blade into the soil and reading the torque. Torvane Partners does the same thing for construction readiness: a focused, repeated method applied before the load of full execution is applied.
Independence
Advisory only. Advisory only.
Torvane is not a contractor, construction manager, or design firm. We do not accept success fees, contingent awards, or compensation tied to project outcomes. That independence is the only reason a sponsor can trust the readout. We are paid to observe, measure, and report — not to defend a position.
Evidence standard
What counts as evidence
We test the field, not the presentation. Walks of site and laydown, structured interviews at the superintendent and general-foreman level, document and data review, and spot checks of representative work packages. Every finding is tied to a source. Conclusions are stated as probabilities and ranges, not opinions. If we do not have evidence, we say so.
What we measure
The nine readiness gates
1. Scope baseline and work-package quality
2. Integrated schedule, float, and near-term look-ahead
3. Craft capability and histogram against regional availability
4. Construction execution plan and site logistics
5. Materials, equipment, and subcontractor readiness
6. QA/QC, commissioning, and turnover planning
7. HSE interface and permit-to-work alignment
8. Leadership team span of control and decision rights
9. Commercial and contract provisions that will be tested
What we will not do
Boundaries, in writing
- Assume charge of construction or act as contractor or construction manager.
- Perform engineering, commissioning, or equipment operation.
- Provide legal opinions or financial audits.
- Accept success fees or contingent compensation.
- Offer public statements, press releases, or advocacy on the client's behalf.
Confidentiality
Your site, your data, your decision
Work is performed under a mutual NDA. Reports belong to the client. Torvane does not disclose client identities, site observations, or conclusions to third parties without written permission. We do not use anonymized client details in marketing without prior agreement.

Fixed scope. Defined timeline. Principal-led. A confidential 30-minute call is enough to tell you whether an assessment fits.
